The Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and translational research at leading medical centers worldwide and increasing public awareness about good breast health.  BCRF is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Currently, more than 90 cents of every dollar donated is directed to breast cancer research and awareness programs.

The Joy to Life Foundation is a non-profit organization providing free mammograms for medically underserved women currently 40 – 49 years of age in 29 counties in South Central Alabama. The organization was founded in 2001 by Joy and Richard Blondheim of Montgomery, Alabama. Joy Blondheim, a breast cancer survivor, along with her husband, Richard, are dedicating their time and efforts to women who are fighting to win the battle against breast cancer. After extensive research to uncover the greatest needs, a partnership was formed between the Blondheims and the Alabama Department of Public Health’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program.
